Whenever I see that sort of thing (although I have never used that version of MPLAB) I tap and release each ctrl, alt and shift key and click each mouse button individually. Just in case that helps. MPLAB (5.31.00) sometimes gets itself into a mode where it insists on marking everything whenever the cursor is moved. If you double-click at a new location, it moves to there, but then paging up or down in the editor marks all the text up or down from there. Exiting the project or even exiting MPLAB and restarting does not terminate this, but rebooting the computer does. 8-( The cursor is the 'hand' even when the mouse button is released. ISTR I got out of this somehow once (without rebooting), but I can't remember how. Anyone ?
