I persinaly use just about all of the code in that file in a project of my own, which uses a MAX233 RS232 chip, an Atmel i2c 24C64 EEPROM, and three Phillips i2c 8bit i/o expander chips, and a Dallas i2c temperature chip. Everything works great! I'd actualy sugjest using snipp.htm as a starter template for your own software. Anyway, its good stuff, IMHO.
