Let me know if you have any luck with your project. I would love to play with an Image sensor too. It would help my project (Light Stare) a light in a ball on a pole that shines a light beam that follows me where I am on my land. I live in Alaska and during the dark part of the year I always wished for a light that would follow me around (just the light beam). Sounded like a cheap small project that I could afford, as the pole to put it on is already up. Maybe a belt clip with some infared leds blinking at a given hz or color that the sensor could see?
