Hi - (anyone there?) I've just completed the hardware for a 9V battery powered gizmo. I'm using a LT1121-CZ5.0 regulator and no load it draws 30uA just like the data sheet says. My 16C84 is running with a 32.768kHz crystal and 82pF caps and the whole circuit draws about 130uA. This was a little higher than I had hoped. Interesting thing is if I disable the watchdog the current goes UP to 270uA! Doesn't this sound a bit backwards?! Checked and rechecked. I intend to use 16F84's but so far have been prototyping with an old 16C84 I had kicking around. Anyone got any ideas?
