Basic18 version 1.6 has just been released at http://basic18.piclist.com.

Some of the additions include:

  *  Algebraic execution of equations
  *  Boolean equations
  *  Improved optimization
  *  C style binary literals ie: (0b11110010)
  *  New commands: Xor, Jump, LJump, Uses
  *  Bank selection inside Dim statements

Some features of Basic18 include:

  * String and array support
  * Integer variable types include 1, 8, 16, and 32 bit signed and
    unsigned
  * Read variable types include 32 bit fixed point and 32 bit IEEE
    floating point
  * Automatic RAM bank updating
  * Tracking of stack usage
  * Reuse of local variable space
