I wrote a nasty little Parallax language macro at http://www.piclist.com/techref/microchip/delays.htm that calculates the number of cycles needed for a delay of X micro, milli, or seconds (it then compiles a delay inline) that could be translated and used in combination with http://www.piclist.com/techref/microchip/delay/10b1cr15m-dr.htm or http://www.piclist.com/techref/microchip/delay/xb1crnm-ng.htm to provide such an ability. Please consider sharing shat you come up with. --- James Newton (PICList Admin #3) mailto:jamesnewton@piclist.com 1-619-652-0593 PIC/PICList FAQ: http://www.piclist.com or .org -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU]On Behalf Of Antonio L Benci Sent: Monday, June 18, 2001 21:12 To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: [PIC]: delay_us(); using a 16 bit variable in CCS PCW. Has anyone actually created a delay_us(); routine which can use a 16 bit variable ? If this has been invented, i'd rather pick the brains of the list than reinvent the wheel ;) If not then i'll write one in assembler.
