Hi =C5keN, What it is saying is that before you can take advantage of Low Voltage programming, you have to first program the PICmicro (with a high programm= ing voltage - 12+ Volts) with the LVP bit reset. Once this is done, you can program the part just using +5 Volts at _MCLR = and using RB3. It's unfortunate that Microchip doesn't ship these parts from their facto= ry with the LVP bit reset so that people can take advantage of this. myke ----- Original Message ----- From: "=C5ke Neehr" To: Sent: Sunday, June 17, 2001 10:36 AM Subject: [PIC]: Programming 16F87X Hi ! In the directions for programming of PIC16F87X from Microchip stands following: "To disable low voltage ICSP mode, the LVP bit must be programmed to '0'. This must be done while entered with high voltage entry mode (LVP bit =3D 1). Can anybody tell me what it really says there and concrete, what I have to do to get the programming working well??
