question

how does one program a pic?
do i have to by a programmer type device?
or is there a rs232 type cable i can build (like the bot-board [HC11]
computer connection)?

my boss has purchased the ?picplus? (not sure if that is right) and was
wondering if it would be able to reburn a eeprom in it.

we are using the PIC16C711, is there any info (i have the 16C71X doc
from Microchip) or hints for using/programming the device?

any help is greatly apreciated
