I recently acquired a macintosh (ok, I had to take it if I wanted the laser printer... ;-) ) without a mouse. I've been able to do a few things with it (apple-o, apple-w, apple-q), but I can't seem to navigate much of the system without a mouse. I've heard that macs are nearly impossible to use without a mouse, but that seems shortsighted and I doubt apple would have done something like that. Chances are it's just obscure (I hope). So before I go to the used computer store and spend the buck or so on a cheap mouse, could any of you give me some pointers or web pages that show this info? It's a centris 610 (68040, 40MHz, iirc). I'm also interested in hooking it up to my ethernet network, so any basic mac info pages would be greatly appreciated. At very least I need to know what I'm talking about if I try to sell it on ebay... -Adam -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
