> Please switch your mailer to send as PLAIN TEXT only. =20 It was, and is, set to plain text for the piclist in the addressbook. (since I know piclisters wants that) > sending MIME-encoded text. I am using Outlook Express, and it won't = put the > ">" in front of the text I'm replying to when it is MIME encoded. ok, didnt know that. I use OE too, and have no such problems w any = emails from=20 the piclist that I have noticed. I changed the global setting to = non-mime as u whish. -------------------------------------------------------------------------= --------- The filter code is up and running now thanxs to David Cary's support = today !=20 David pointed out where I went overboard w my math, amasing how stupid=20 one can be at times :) My code currently samples 255 times then use that = as=20 input value. Seems to work very nicely. Olin, glanced at your other msg, it will take me a few hours to study it = properly. Most interesting. Just couldnt figure out how u meant I should use the = pulse as=20 input value. So I sampled it first. Should be a push-over to adjust my = code to=20 use the pulse as an input instead of the 255 samples value. Regarding the filter 'count ' what I mean is that if u look at the = filter output it 'counts' up when u have a 1 as input signal from 0 to 255. Yes, I = have=20 already noticed that the low byte is useless/half random. This took me a few days (& nights) *phew* ! The rest is kiddy stuff, a little RS232 and code-logic to make it usable. Nice and fun 1st = project for the 877. This filterstuff was new to me, nice to actually find a = good use=20 for it. If I get the prg finalised today, this PIC will start its new = job sunday. Thanxs for your support and patience boys :-) /PJ -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways. See http://www.piclist.com/#archives for details.
