Not bad. So if I limit the printing to chars 0 to 9 and a few markings (: - +) then a lookup table could be used for the various lines of the chars. That does not sound to hard. I was looking at some of the Epson thermal mechanisms.. they seemed relatively easy to use, you shift in the current "line" of data and strobe the heater elements. The trick is that you have to do this as the paper is moving so timing is important.
