Bootloaders were discussed in a thread a couple weeks ago, as a way for a PIC to program itself using a serial port in the circuit. The guy operating Bootload.com mentioned them but so far hasn't responded to a question I had. I would like to be able to program using a bootloader board's serial port, but I would like to use it as a general data communication port when not programming the chip. Is there such a bootloader and board available? It would really help. Thanks! Jeff -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
