I searched through the archives of this list, deja.com and microchip.

Does anybody have any C code that I can look at how to control a
mono graphics LCD screen using one of the SED controllers from
Seiko-Epson? I would actually like code that controls the 13706
(SED1376, S1D13706), but if I can see how other controllers are
used
I might be able to figure out what to do.

If someone doesn't have the code, is there some place where I
can
learn how to use graphics controllers?

The documentation of the controller has basic algorithms to do
things,
but I still don't know which ports to use to do what.

I am not stuck with the controller yet, but I do need a
controller that
can drive a graphics LCD 480x320.  If there are other
controllers with
code in C that I can use, I don't mind.  I just need to learn the basics
first of using a graphics LCD.
