The one thing I did do, along these lines: Years ago, I had a generator powered light. It had two outputs on the gen. 6V for the tail light and head light, and 100V for a flourescent light. I had a conductive foil in the seat connected through a switch, to the 100V output. Of course the gen had to be engaged, and the thief would have had to be riding, but it was an amusing idea anyway. This was before transistor inverters were popular/practical. -- Dave's Engineering Page: http://www.dvanhorn.org I would have a link to FINDU here in my signature line, but due to the inability of sysadmins at TELOCITY to differentiate a signature line from the text of an email, I am forbidden to have it. -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
