There's a company here in Dallas Texas called Friendly Robotics selling
their version of a Mowbot for $600 at Frys.

Didn't know if y'all knew that.

Coming late to this discussion causes me to have ideas as well. Trouble is
my electric mower is a mains powered hover mower, so I guess I need a
trailer with DC-AC converter on it - how about  a UPS. But then I need a
means of making the mower go where I want. I suppose the trick is to have
the UPS trailer actually pull the mower.
