Do you expect them to tolerate you around, watching every move they make, asking about the materials, procedures, and tools used, and have you take little notes on it in their view ? When they are done, will you be glad with a signed statement that they made it compliant to standards, or do you want a ISO9000 q.c. crew all over your roof for 3 days drilling probe holes all over the place and a sheaf of paper tall enough to use as a car jack ? (For the price of another roof). As a matter of fact, pick any trade, not just roofing, and tell me if it works that way. Or even more scientific things. Like building and architecture. Not to mention medicine. Cooking in a restaurant ? Anodizing some parts ? Any more examples ? Peter -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
