roughly quoted from "the psychology of computer programming": Nearly all tests on computer programming that have involved a statistically significant amount of humans suffer from the fact that they uses first year students, novice programmers or the like, simply because using other test subjects (for instance seasoned programmers) would simply be too expensive.
