Hi Karl and Myke, If you wish to try it (your risk), some differences you need to consider are: Oscillator definitions are different but fortunately the config bits used are the same. You Just need to translate: 16C7x 16C745 RC = EC PLL (E4) HS = HS PLL (H4) XT = EC No PLL (EC) LP = EC Clock out (HS) (MPLAB assignments) Also the 16C745, C765 do not have Brownout, you should set the brown out bit when programming the USB pics. I urge that you recheck my efforts and don't blame me if something goes wrong, I have not experimented with this as my programmer supports these parts. -Jim >Good luck and please let me know how you make out, > >myke >----- Original Message ----- >From: "karlseibert" >To: >Sent: Thursday, May 17, 2001 2:14 PM >Subject: 16C745/765 on El Cheapo programmer > > >> Has anyone used Myke Predko's El Cheapo programmer for >> programming a PIC16C745?
