We don't seem to have any samples of the use of TMR0 with an external clock
source...

...anyone have some sample code that does this?

Is it ok to clock the TMR0 bin at a higher rate than the internal clock?

Can you clock TMR0 at a high rate than the clock in the PIC can run?
