Each adds their own "index" which contains the info about read/unread, priority, tags and so forth. So if the newer versions haven't changed the way they do things, you can just copy your Eudora .mbx file to where your Netscape mail files are kept (change the extension if appropriate) and when you open Netscape it will build its own index and show you the mail! I also found some "converters" out there on the 'net back then, I think they were for the addressbook, though.
