We were using SAFT, and a couple other vendors, of a three cell button pack at something like 30mA IIRC. Self-discharge wasn't large, and as long as you put a bit more in than that, they stay up. More than that, and you're making oxygen and hydrogen, and relying on recombination to save you, and hydrogen is a slippery gas, gets out pretty easy. Those oxygen bowling balls aren't so hard to keep fenced in. -- Dave's Engineering Page: http://www.dvanhorn.org Where's dave? http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/find.cgi?kc6ete-9 -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
