My wisp programmer (http://www.xs4all.nl/~wf/owuter/pic/wisp) contains a
16x84 that communicates with a PC (asynch) and programs the target PIC
(including Vpp generation, with a charge pump, hence flash/eeprom PICs
only). For your idea: isn't the flash (code) store of the F877 enough to
hold the full image for the F872?
