Sadly, however, I am a moron, and whilst I did look all through section 6 which describes TMR0 and T0CKI in great detail, it omitted to mention whether T0CKI was a Schmitt trigger. You are indeed correct, and it is casually mentioned in Table 3-1 on page 11.
