Hmm. On second thought, I am going on memory so try it first. I find the metal tip of a ball point pen convenient. However, neither of these terminal programs will display all the 0-255 8 bit codes. I rely on a program called "ansiterm.exe" as it is very simple. In "monitor" mode it will dislay "printable" characters and the unprintable ones are shown in hex individually encloded in double angle brackets. As a sample here is hello123 hello<<0D>><<0A>>123 I think there would be a way to send those codes as well using ansiterm as the function keys are programmable but in a technical rather than a "user friendly" way. I can email ansiterm.exe to you or put it on my home page for download. Jeff Johnson http://home.dialix.com/~u2263/index.htm __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
