I suspect that' a tad optimistic, actually. An A+ certified HS grad with, say, a CCNA cert besides would be worth something less than $60K anywhere I know of. Really good money for a HS grad, but probably more like $30-40K at most. He/she could be at a much higher salary at the point he/she would have graduated college, though. Our local HS is now offering the curriculum for Cisco CCNA and A+ training and certification. Not many of those grads will be flipping burgers at BK for a living, that's for sure, but I doubt any will be getting any $60K per year. > A 12 year old would be about 6th or 7th grade, No?
