I know this was never intended to be a universal programmer, but just a suggestion for future "feature creep", how about the ability to program serial eeproms such as 24C16 etc? Unfortunately the pinout dosen't match that of any PIC I know, but there are lots of unused pins at the bottom of the ZIF socket, so maybe they could be used?
