-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I've been looking at some of the various etchants (as I'm going to be making some PC boards), but am confused. From what I've read, Ferric Chloride is truly nasty stuff, and I'd be likely unable to dispose of it. It does, of course, have the advantage of being available at the Radio Shack a stone's throw from my house. I'm basically looking for something that is fairly easy to use (not too much mixing, like some of the homemade etchants I found), safe to people and property (no staining!), and easy to dispose of. I've seen some discussion of Sodium Persulphate and Ammonium Persulphate, but people seem to have mixed feelings regarding their effectiveness. Anyone have any experiences / reccomendations they'd like to share? - -Randy Glenn If you have to ship styrofoam, what DO you pack it in? ================================================= Randy_Glenn-at-tvo.org - PICxpert-at-picxpert.com PICxpert-at-yahoo.com - PICxpert-at-home.com http://www.picxpert.com/ ================================================= -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP Personal Privacy 6.5.8 iQA/AwUBOs9NPWQ6DS7MTlpUEQJQYQCg1BikyVjUS9GeW+/aSuD44SXnxxsAni38 +5/H+KI8xuPgdEuAYPHieNx2 =gZpV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
