Urgent need to have a 16F84 programmed in NM, USA Paul, a contact from another list (Rocketry) is in need of an urgent favour. He needs a PIC 16F84 programmed and delivered to a person in Rio Rancho, New Mexico asap. He has produced an altimeter program for an experimental rocketry launch which is imminent and now finds the code is slightly wrong. He is in Australia. The address of the target recipient is > Ray Calkins c/o > Orbital Dynamics, Inc. > 700 Casper Road SE > Rio Rancho, NM 87124 > USA If anyone who is close to this location is willing and able to program a 16F84 asap (preferably for the cost of the chip alone :-) ) would they please let Paul know directly and also cc me a copy of their reply so that I know what is happening. The code originator is From: "Paul Kelly" Relevant technical specs are > In case the programmer can't pull the settings from the file (happens sometimes) > XT_OSC, WDT_OFF, CP_OFF > I use one of Ben Dobaj's (PIC16PRO) programmers which I'm pretty sure it's an > INH8M file. I use CVASM (formerly spasm). Paul will probably provide you with the file directly Many thanks, whoever you are out there. regards Russell McMahon +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ > Quoting Russell McMahon : > > > I'm on the very active 2000 member PICList mailing list with probably > > 1000+ > > people world-wide able to program a 16F84. > > > > If you send me the file to be programmed and tell me exactly where it > > should > > go to physically plus contact details for Richard I can almost > > certainly > > find a person within D motor range (maybe an F) of Richard. > > > Provide max possible technical details for programming purposes (fuse > > settings for watchdog etc, file format, ...), what assembler you use etc > > to > Great, I'll send it to a few folk, and see how it goes.
