I'm up and running using the PICC DEMO to compile a time slice interrupt code based on the workingtex.com sample. It appears that the PICC Demo doesn't include the tools necessary to support MPLAB integration per their FAQ section re: MPLAB Setup. Right now I compile from the command line then import the .HEX with MPLAB and hit the Program button. Can the demo be integrated more? I'm using the F877 ICD but don't require debug modes in my hobby project. The PICC Demo download page says it's limited to "a small number of bytes per module". Pretty vague! I don't see any special handling when the app passes the 256th program byte (for a F877) and wonder if they mean to say that the demo doesn't handle program code banking. Another Q: I'm using the -ICD option and I see it reserve the 0x70 register file location for my ICD, but I don't think it's putting a NOP at 0x0000 as also required. Or perhaps the compiler is smart enough to know when that NOP is necessary, and it's not necessary for my current code? - Bri -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
