Hi all, On a related note, how much of an output current margin do you guys (doing high volume runs) maintain on individual I/O pins and on the Ports. For example, the 16F872 data sheet's "Absolute Max. Ratings" states 25mA per pin (source or sink); 200mA for Ports A & B combined, and 200mA for Port C. That's nearly a half an AMP! I'd like to drive a dual 7-seg display directly from the PIC @15mA per segment (15*7=105mA on PortB, 105mA on PortC). That's about 50% of the Abs. Max. Rating... Safe?
