I'm not sure if you're using Linux or not, but if you were you could use Andrew
Pine's Linux PicStart Plus driver and write a script to help automate batch
programming. If you didn't feel like editing the hex file with a script, then it
would be trivial to place the serial number into an include file, include it in
the source and then re-assemble it with gpasm. The serial number can
automagically be incremented by the script.
