Shane asks: >I'm going from MPLab and Hi-Tech C, to Codewright and Hi-Tech C. >Can anyone suggest the easiest way to do this, maybe give some web references or experience? This may not be quite the answer you're looking for, but I do CodeWarrior (for its editor and project management) and Hi-Tech C, and I run each on a separate monitor under Win98 with a Matrox G450 DualHead. The only issue / problem I come across is when I save a file in MPLAB (via its editor, that pops up when I'm tracing through the source code) that's also open in CodeWarrior -- this causes various problems. But if I remember to always edit in CodeWarrior and save (Ctrl-S) before making in MPLAB (F10), all goes well. Also, in the Dual-Monitor environment, CodeWarrior (v3.1) doesn't like the second display, and MPLAB still puts some popups over on the first one.
