Sorry, I forgot the [PIC] tag on this. The master is an 16F876 and it the only master. The distances are just board level. If there is not a problem leaving the pullup on SCL then I will leave it. I am guessing there is a problem with the code. There's not a lot of examples of hardware I2C to EEPROM.. I also saw something in the archives about adding capacitance to the lines. Anything on this?
