Do you think I am on the right track with using the transformer to isolate
the circuits? there is 1.5 to 2v d.c going into the sensor (this is from the
ecu) .The sensor has 1.50kohms resistance .
I have been doing some reading on transformers and inductive reactance and
capacitive reactance (might be a little overmy head at the moment ) so if
there is a better way to do the job it would be good to find out now than
later .

P.S I don't have a scope only a multimeter....I would like to get one ,would
a 20mhz dual trace be the one to look at ?? for pic projects..... Anybody
have one for sale???
