I think he had "A" datasheet, but it wasn't detailed enough for him to wire the thing up. Don't ask why he bought it without researching it first. I think he was rushing it. Anyway, we've all done that, so I guess he'll have to learn the hard way like everyone else :-). Thanks for the help mate. --- Regards, Chris Pringle Administrator of "The Linux Site" http://thelinuxsite.sourceforge.net -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU]On Behalf Of Chris Carr Sent: 04 March 2001 21:40 To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: [EE]: NAP-11A , it isn't my project, and he's already bought the thing....he just > can't get it working. A catch phrase of Captain Mannering springs to mind (for those of you not in the UK this is a character in a comedy series (Dads Army) about the Second World War (don't ask)). Without getting the datasheets first ! "Stupid Boy" :-) Still, the best way of learning is by our mistakes. I continue to learn only by that method (and have the scars to prove it :-)) Regards Chris -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you.
