If you're looking at LTC data sheets from '93, you're probably looking at some kind of precision circuit.. maybe with some parameters I could make some recommendations. I use about 10 different types regularly depending on the bandwidth, power consumption, Vos, TCVos, cost, slew rate, comon mode (single supply, dual supply, rail-to-rail) and output (power, normal, rail-to-rail) and power supply voltage (some will operate from +/-15V reliably, others have a maximum supply voltage of only 5.5VDC.
