Tony: Thanks alot, looks like this can be used almost as-is (can be simplified as he has the sensors already built and working well). Probably drop: * Op-Amps and related components (i.e. everything below the ground bus on the schematic). * Switches (probably will modify code to reset/retrigger when first opto sensor is blocked). Thanks very much! Both Ray and I appreciate it. Bruce. -----Original Message----- From: Tony Nixon [mailto:Tony.Nixon@ENG.MONASH.EDU.AU] Sent: Thursday, February 22, 2001 4:33 PM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: [PIC]:Mentor - 16f84 speedo Part 1A "Bourdon, Bruce" wrote: > > Mentor - 16f84 speedo Part 1A: > (my apologies if you've recieved duplicates of this) > > Below is a copy of a letter I just sent to Ray, an aspiring PIC enthusiast > (you may have read his posts from a week ago regarding a request for > assistance with his 'f84 project). Try this 16F84 amphometer project. It should be easy to modify for the train set. http://www.picnpoke.com/projects/ampho.html -- Best regards Tony mICro's http://www.picnpoke.com mailto:sales@picnpoke.com -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you.
