Sean, Most of the BNC crimp connectors I have used contained only three pieces. The "Teflon" piece you speak of is most likely an additional insulator between the center conductor and the body of the connector. So to use, after you strip the wire, slide the hollow silver cylinder on the cable, slide the "Teflon" part onto the conductor wire, crimp the small brass point onto the conductor wire, slide the connector body onto/into the cable. Finally, slide the cylinder tight against the connector body, and crimp the living daylights out of it. VIOLA!!!
