The weight can be removed by crushing it gently in a desk vise at two
positions 90 degrees apart, then pull it off.

Motor data is almost impossible to obtain unless it is an OEM type similar
to one available in a catalog. R/C rocket glider fans often make their own
servos, so maybe they have data. Try to search for them on the web.
