     Thanks a lot for caring to send me all that information.Now I have a

more clear idea of how to build the phisical layer,but
mi problem is I don't find guidelines regarding any asm code approach
to handling multipoint transmision on RS485 the the way
it can be found about RS232 in microchip's app. notes or elsewere.Could
you please
send me a short piece of code as an example of how to handle a half
duplex , single
byte transmision and reception between the 16c74 master and the three
16c84 slaves?
I am planning to use max485 ic to take care of the differencial
voltage transmision over A and B wires.
    I have checked out every document suggested by the pic-list,and found

them very enlightening concerning electrical spec. of the phisical
layer,but still the
only
documentation on software implementation I can find is about RS232.
