uh ? ..is this not the beauty of fixed point ? ..you treat everything
like integers ( i.e. dp is only implied ) , ofcource you have to make
sure all data has the same scale factor but apart fromthat it is integer
math
only isn't it ? ( absolute easiest is to have dp at byte boundary
for example 8Q8 or 16Q8, make scaling of input dead easy ).


And yes to concure, what does the original poster want to accomplish ?
