Any telcom experts out there?

Looking for a schematic to be able to connect a telephone set to and be able to =
have line in and line outs from the telephone.

Basically I should be able to connect the telephone to my stereo and use it as =
a speaker and a mic! (all at line level ins and outs)

The telephone set would not be connected to the phone company.
