Sorry I lost the thread a bit there.

Are you saying the Platinum RTD's are a replacement for the "K" type probes
and need NO signal conditioning?  What preamp circuit does a "K" type probe
need? (anyone got a circuit example?)
If so have you got a URL for me to look at or a manufacturer please.

Sorry if I've lost the plot completely, my direct need is to measure
"Exhaust Gas Temp" and display via a PIC.
