This seems to be a word vs. byte address issue.   Especially because
the sheet for the 16F874 also says it's 2007.  I realized something
was up when I saw "FF 3F" all through blank memory.  14bit words.
Hmmm.  OK.  So I guess this means that's not where the problem is.

I'll check the A/D registers next.
