I see they outlawed the anti-carjacking flame gun. For those
who haven't seen it, it was a row of gas burners mounted
under the sill between the front and rear wheels. If anyone
tries to hijack the car (an epidemic in SA) when you're in it,
you push a button and two big sheets of yellow flame10ft
high fire out very ferociously and incinerate anyone/anything
either side of the car. Charming. Still, thieves aren't content
with depriving you of just property these days, they'll take your
life too if the fancy strikes them. And it does
