Assuming you're looking for new, I've been very happy with Hantronix (see my post about HALT testing one of their displays). They quoted $7.95 for a 8x2 extended temperature display, with a 3" ribbon cable soldered onto the PCB, and a SAMTECH connector on the cable. If you're looking for used, or small proto quanties, All-Electronics has 16x2 backlight LCD's for $7.50. -----Original Message----- From: Bruce Kizerian [mailto:kizerian@CED.UTAH.EDU] Sent: Friday, February 09, 2001 10:07 AM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: [PIC]: LCD Display Sources Can anyone suggest a good source for LCD displays. Some of these are quite expensive. I am looking for some bargains--something in the less than $20 range. Bruce Kizerian -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
