Hi all -

I've been using the Picstart Plus programmer with MPLAB on my Powerbook
using SoftWindows 98 - no problem.

A little while ago I bought the MPLAB-ICD from Microchip, but I can't
get it to work with SoftWindows. Microchip tech support said it "won't
work", but they didn't explain anything more than that.

So before I give up on it, I wanted to see if I could get some
confirmation/explanation: does the ICD rely on some kind of precise
serial timing or other strange technique that would make it impossible
to work on a windows emulator?
