I recall one of the US (?) or Brit electronics magazines had a project
to build an open-board PIC emulator (using a genuine bondout
chip from Microchip). Can't recall much else about it, but I
thought it was very inexpensive, like ~$200 US. Less than the
personality modules for a full-fledged emulator.

Anyone else know what I am talking about?
