David, It does take some time for the engines to do their magic. I know that my site was not listed for a couple of weeks. I've also heard that meta tags should be concise, and listed only (?) on the main page. Repeated words might be interpreted as spam by the engines. content="rf module design,rf module manufacture, rf module distribution, wireless data telemetry and rf solutions made simple" Spaces are not good. If I tried 'RF module' the engine would not likely list your page. Try "rf, module, design, manufacture, distribution, wireless, telemetry" instead. Hope that helps. -Robert Severson http://usbsimm.home.att.net http://www.jged.com http://www.annatechnology.com > -----Original Message----- > From: pic microcontroller discussion list > [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU]On Behalf Of David Huisman > Sent: Thursday, February 08, 2001 3:42 PM > To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU > Subject: [OT]:Help with getting site listed > > > Hi there , > > I am having lots of fun trying to get my site listed in any > of the search > engines and generally creating traffic. my site is > http://www.orbitcoms.com > > After having no joy submitting myself, I subscribed to > sub,it-it.
