Thanks so much to all who responded to my FIFO inquiry.  A lot of
good ideas and info was presented.  I got some very good ideas.

By the way, I have an OEM Motorola GPS board and just received a
Garmin GPS board and antenna as well.  I'm going to incorporate a GPS
into my project rather than provide only a NMEA-0183 port.  If anyone
has any experience or opinions on these I would like to hear it.
>From all the units I found on the web, the Garmin seems to be far
superior (from the data sheet anyway) and less expensive.  When I
opened the package I was amazed at how small it is.
